He's here!!!!!!!!

My nephew is here!!!!!!!!! After a veeeeeeery long labor, which eventually led to a c-section, he is here!!! Adrian Michael, 8 lbs. 4 oz., 21 in. long and just perfect and adorable. I just love him to pieces already and I am so very happy and excited for Ann, her husband and big sister, Alyssa. I just love rainbow babies! Hoping that Ann has a quick recovery and is enjoying her time with little Adrian. I hope Joshua gets to meet him and they can play together and talk about their big sisters. I can't wait! Congratulations Ann!  xoxoxoxoxoxo

Rainbows... I love!

Anytime today (I HOPE), my friend, Ann will be giving birth to my new "nephew", Adrian! Words cannot express how excited I am today and how excited I've BEEN since I found out she was pregnant. We have been through so much together and we have only really "known" each other for barely over a year. We both lost our firstborn daughters at 35 wks. 1 day. We both share butterflies as symbols for our babies, as do a lot of other BLMs and the list just goes on and on of things we have in common. If I kept going, I think this post would be way too long! Anyway, I haven't really been able to sleep since the moment I knew she was having her rainbow, so here I am. Let's wish her a safe arrival for her rainbow! She's been at it since yesterday afternoon, so bless her heart! I cannot wait to hear of the "news"! I hope to one day see her again and have our sons meet in person and talk about their sisters. I can't even imagine now, but that is one of my hopes. Here's to Aunt Ann, Joshua! And your new cousin who is almost here!! :-)

2 months old!

I'm so happy to do this post. Joshua turned 2 months old on April 3rd. He is now 12 lbs. 4 oz. and 23.3 in. long. His cheeks have gotten chubby along with the rest of him! :-)  He received all his shots his last visit and took them like a champ. The only part he screamed about was having his legs held down real still. He hated that part. He continues to be a pretty easy baby, crying when he needs changed or fed and he is just now starting to smile and sleep through the night. I'm loving every moment!  Here are a few pictures from a recent photo shoot. The very last one has a Pooh Bear that is identical to the one Alexandra is buried with. So bittersweet...
